Starting a Wellness Home Business

Now that you’ve explored your options with a wellness home business, the next step is to decide which wellness business option may be best for you.

Do you have a lot of capital set aside to start your own home based business? Do you have any specialized training or knowledge to lean on? Unfortunately, most of us wanting to embark on the journey of starting our own wellness home based business just don’t have the criteria it usually takes to do so. If you do then great, go for it!

Storytelling is as old as time. People naturally love to hear stories. In fact, one of the most common mistakes most networkers make is not telling enough stories! When I learned this, and began applying it, my business took off…

It’s natural for us to want to share with others what we’re excited about. Only problem is, people usually don’t care about what you want or like – They usually only care about what they want and how you can help them get it.

Now some of you may be thinking, no not me, I just want to help people with my business, service, or product. And I’m sure you do. Most of us do. Before I get too much into that I want to give a real quick disclaimer that, while I have gotten better at telling my story, there’s probably still room for improvement. I’m no expert at telling your story, but I have learned and applied a lot of what I do know about telling your story and I have experienced amazing results. I don’t want to appeal to 98%ers when I say this but, an example of how powerful your story can be is:

Not too long ago, I was actually searching around online like you are right now. Things have changed a lot over the few years it’s been since I searched for a Christian business… After some serious searching and digging I was able to find a Christian home based business opportunity that I work from home, and I feel you may be able to do the same. You see, there are lots of different things you can do as a Christian business. I’m not sure if you’re interested at all in an online Christian business opportunity, but if you are, I would like to take a moment to share with you what I have found.

A few years back I stumbled across a company named “GBG” that looked very appealing but, it was driving me crazy that I didn’t know what GBG stood for! So I began to do some research and found out that the founder and CEO of GBG, Stuart Finger, was not only a Christian man but, he named the company “Guided By God.” I think I fell in love, LOL. Seriously though. How often do you come across an individual (besides a church or similar leader) who is willing to boldly hold up the name of Christ as the name of their business?! And then when I got to hear from the heart of Stuart Finger himself, I was blown away at how strong of a heart this man had for not only God’s people, but also a heart for helping those who aren’t saved as well, and incorporating it all into business  and dedicating his life to the success of others. So often we hear Stuart say “GBG is not ‘Guided By Stu Finger’, it’s ‘Guided By God!’”

If that’s not enough, here’s what really pulled me into GBG…

Before I stumbled across GBG I was plugging into a lady by the name of Dani Johnson who has been featured on Oprah, The View, Good Morning America and chosen as America’s Favorite “Secret Millionaire” for the premiere show on ABC (2011). I don’t know if you’ve heard or seen her amazing story of how she went from broke, homeless, living out of her car with $2.03 to her name to then making her first Million dollars in under two years by the age of 23!

If you’re wondering what Dani has to do with GBG – well, they’re not directly affiliated at all. Over time, as I partnered up in business with GBG, I have chosen to outsource my training to Dani Johnson (GBG has featured her on some advanced Platinum trainings as well). What I have a feeling you may like most about these two is what attracts me the most. You see, GBG and Dani Johnson BOTH offer us (as Christians) the opportunity to bring the gospel to the word, often without others even knowing it.

How you may ask?

Well, for starters, not everyone partnered with GBG is a Christian. Although GBG is a Christian company based on Christian values, it is open to anyone from any walk of life. That means if you were to introduce people to GBG and their product line that is based on taking care of the bodies God has blessed us with, they would unknowingly be introduced to a large group of individuals who already believe in God and are trying to live their life as examples to others (so basically, witnesses). Then, if you chose to partner up with me and take it one step further, as I have, by outsourcing your training to a Christian business developer and trainer, people that you introduce to the business will be “backed into” being saved. You see everything Dani teaches comes from the Bible – ALL of her training is based on biblical principles that are designed to prosper us. And when she does her LIVE business trainings, at the end, she always does an “alter call” where THOUSANDS have gotten saved or recommitted their lives to Jesus.

I don’t know if that’s something you’re looking to do or not. All I know is, honestly, prior to stumbling across GBG, I had been very hurt by “church people” and others as well… so I had literally walked away from God. I always believed in him and knew he existed, but I didn’t have a personal relationship with him. Now, a few months before I stumbles across GBG, a burning desire had began to spark in me to re-kindle my relationship with God that was re-birthed by Dani Johnson. So here I am, fumbling around online and lo and behold… I stumble across a Christian business opportunity! Two years later my realtionship with God and others in my life have been restored, my faith has grown stronger, and I can be a witness to others without them even knowing it.

Funny how God works.

Before GBG, Anthony had tried a health and wellness supplement, with a different company, but in the same industry. However, it just didn’t work out for him. He started looking online for a home based business and he stumbled across GBG.

Anthony has been doing Building Maintenance for 23 years, with 17 years left until retirement because he doesn’t have a good retirement plan. Faith: What brought you to GBG? What were you looking for?

Anthony: Well, for about two years I was searching for a home business and finally I just stumbled across GBG.

Faith: And what did you like most about it?
